Milford Music Festival Announces Headliner And Festival Dates

MILFORD—The Milford Music Festival recently announced that New Riders of the Purple Sage will be the headlining act for this years event that happens June 9, 10 and 11 in and around historic Milford Borough. New Riders of the Purple Sage will feature original member’s, guitarist David Nelson and pedal steel wizard Buddy Cage, along with Michael Falzarano from Hot Tuna and Ronnie Penque and John Markowski from Stir Fried. The Milford Music Festival is celebrating its fourth year as a non-profit music event and features a full spectrum of artists performing rock, classical, blues, jazz and more. Last years festival brought thousands of people out to listen to the live performances that could be heard throughout the town during the three days. The Festival is presented by Milford-based Altec Lansing, a leading manufacturer and marketer of audio systems for the home and office; a line of headsets and headphones for personal listening; and the popular line of inMotion speaker systems for portable digital players. Because of Altec’s generous support and other sponsor contributions the Milford Music Festival is free and celebrates the diversity of music and performance during one complete weekend. Sponsor and volunteer opportunities are still available. Call Angel for more information at (570) 296-1339 or visit www.milfordmusic.org.
