Milford Music Festival Announces Headliner And Festival Dates

MILFORD, PA—The Milford Music Festival, along with its presenting sponsor Altec Lansing, are excited to announce the ultimate kickoff event of the summer season! On May 11th, 2006 at 5pm to 7:30pm, the Best Western Inn at Hunt’s Landing on Route 6 & 209, will be hosting an evening filled with music, dancing, and a wide array of items for auction. This inventive fundraiser will be held to raise funding for the annual upcoming musical event of the Milford Music Festival.

Headlining this event, are an infamous trio of musicians that will absolutely blow you away. Local legendary blues man Bobby Kyle, along with Rhett Tyler and Scott Weis will acoustically woe each and everyone attending the event. Rhett Tyler is best known for his “explosive style of scorching modern blues guitar and high octane, house rocking live performances.” Right along side those two phenomenal musicians will be local guitarist, Scott Weis “blending raw rocking blues, Memphis soul, and adult alternative music.”

Also showcasing in this unbelievable event will be U.S. Junior National Champion Barbara Bradley and Jim Bradley! These artistically, graceful dancers will give attendees a Ballroom Dance exhibition…so watch them as they “Take the Lead” of the evening and show you why ballroom dancing is sweeping the nation.

If these two astonishing acts of singing and dancing do not excite you, then the variety of items up for auction will! The auction will feature The auction will feature the latest in personal listening and portable speaker systems donated by Altec Lansing, artwork donated by local artists, and original signed artwork donated by one of the premier artists known for his interpretations of incorporating surrealism with primitive elongation, Dane Tilghman. He has received the Medal of Honor in Graphics from the American Artists Professional League, and in 1999 a baseball image was incorporated into the Baseball Hall of Fame Museum in Cooperstown, NY. Dane’s work has also appeared on popular TV shows such as “The Cosby Show” and “Roseanne.”

In addition to the delightful events of the evening, there will be one hour open bar and hors d’ovres will also be served.

Tickets for THE kickoff event of the season can be purchased before the event for $25.00 and tickets purchased at the door will be $30.00.
